Ivory Coast

Ivory Coast located on the south coast of West Africa is one of the fastest growing economies in Africa. It is highly diverse with different species of animals, birds, plants and fish, and is the world's largest exporter of cocoa beans and cashew. Currently the largest member of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU), Ivory Coast intends to become the hub of trading in West Africa and the doorway to the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). The government in Ivory Coast is very supportive and welcomes investors from all around the world to initiate their business. Agriculture is the primary source of revenue and contributes almost 25% to the GDP. India is a trading partner to Ivory Coast and exports rice, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, machinery, chemicals, plastic and rubber.
