Morocco

Morocco is the fifth largest economy in Africa, and its geography contains mountains, oceans, the Sahara desert, lush green forests etc. Morocco maintains good relation with African, West, Middle East, France and Spain being the primary traders and investors. About 73.5% of foreign investment comes from European Union but the Arab invests only 19%. Morocco is a highly potential country for investment such that many countries from Persian Gulf and Maghreb region flock in for developmental projects. Morocco has the largest port in Africa called Tangeer-Med. Phosphorous is extracted from Morocco and phosphoric acid is exported into different parts of the world contributing to the revenue of economy. Tourism sector, telecom, textile industry and information technology records the highest advancement in Morocco. Tourism brings in most of the foreign money into Morocco, first being the phosphate industry. Because Morocco is closer to Spain and Europe, tourists flock in from these two countries for the beach, cuisine, mountains, beaches, architecture, etc. The government has put in a lot of effort to attract tourists to Morocco stressing on it being a cheap, exotic and safe place to explore.
